MOSCOW — A Ukrainian military plane carrying aviation college college students crashed and burst into flames Friday when landing, killing 22 individuals, the country’s emergencies services mentioned.
Two other individuals on board had been critically injured and 4 individuals had been missing. The An-26 crashed when landing at the airport in Chuhuiv, about 250 miles east of the capital, Kyiv.
Officials mentioned that the plane had a military crew and that most of people aboard had been college students at an aviation university run by the defense ministry.
There had been no quick indications of what brought on the crash.
