The 63rd yearly Grammy Awards, set to be presented this month, have been delayed as the coronavirus spreads quickly in the Los Angeles spot, in accordance to a spokeswoman for the Recording Academy, which presents the awards.
The delay comes much less than 4 weeks prior to the ceremony was to be held, on Jan. 31, while the academy had so far announced couple of facts about the present.
A new date for the occasion, which is broadcast by CBS, is planned for March but has not been announced.
In an interview in November, when nominations had been announced, Harvey Mason Jr., the chairman and interim chief executive of the academy, explained that an occasion was planned for a modest audience, but that a lot of other facts had been nevertheless currently being worked out. Trevor Noah, from “The Day by day Demonstrate,” was to be the host.
