Serena Williams sophisticated to the U.S. Open quarter-finals immediately after a gritty, stress-soaked six-three six-seven(six) six-three win more than Greece’s Maria Sakkari on Monday.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner came up quick in the 2nd-set tiebreak, with her energy serve abandoning her when she desired it most.
