Sushant Singh Rajput death case: ED questions Goa hotelier Gaurav Arya

Mumbai: Days immediately after the Narcotics Manage Bureau (NCB) booked Goa-based mostly hotelier Gaurav Arya in a drug situation, he appeared in advance of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday for questioning in connection with the dollars laundering probe associated to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

In accordance to a senior ED official, Arya, the proprietor of Hotel Tamarind and Cafe Cotinga in Goa, is getting questioned about his alleged chats with Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea, exactly where the two are discussing medicines.

The ED official explained that he is also getting asked about fiscal dealings with Rhea and her brother Showik.

On Sunday, Arya claimed that he had hardly ever met Sushant when he met Rhea as soon as in 2017.

He also explained that he has no connection with the Sushant situation.

Final week, immediately after Arya’s identify cropped up in a social media message, an ED workforce visited Hotel Tamarind in Anjuna, north Goa, but the house was shut owing to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

The ED has also recorded the statement of Sushant’s father K.K. Singh and his sisters Meetu Singh and Priyanka Singh.

The ED had registered a situation of dollars laundering on July 31 on the basis of the Bihar Police FIR filed on the complaint of Sushant’s father.
