Rasika Dugal on 'Delhi Crimes' making International Emmys cut

New Delhi: The world wide web series Delhi Crime has been nominated for Global Emmy Awards 2020 and actress Rasika Dugal, who options in the hit present, feels it has won recognition by a striking stability in between remaining intriguing and delicate.

“I truly feel ‘Delhi Crime’ is a pretty sensitively and intelligently produced venture. I am seriously proud of functioning on it. I am thrilled that it is receiving the recognition that I truly feel it deserves,” Rasika, who played a cop in the series, informed IANS.

The series is vying for honours at the Global Emmys alongside displays from Argentina, Germany and the United kingdom in the Finest Drama Series group.

The initial season of the present followed the story of the Nirbhaya rape situation of 2012.

Asked what clicked with every person, Rasika replied: “I imagine the situation itself. The Nirbhaya rape situation impacted a great deal of persons pretty deeply. It was horrific and gruesome. As a society, we should really not overlook it. We should really recall that we, as component of society, permitted a crime like this to take place.”

Rasika did not reveal facts about the situation to be focussed but shared that she has completed shooting for its 2nd season.
