NCB gets 4-day custody of Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda in connection with drug probe linked to Sushant Singh Rajput death

New Delhi: A Mumbai court on Saturday granted four-day custody of Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda to the Narcotics Handle Bureau (NCB). The duo was arrested in connection with the drug probe associated to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. ‘

The court has granted the custody until September 9, 2020.

Showik was arrested on Friday evening along with Samuel immediately after the NCB raided their respective residences in Mumbai.

The arrest of Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s household manager Samuel Miranda by the Narcotics Handle Bureau (NCB) is observed as a massive phase in busting the complete drug angle. The arrests have been produced immediately after the drug conspiracy unfolded in the death of Sushant, creating this situation even much more mysterious.

KPS Malhotra, Deputy Director, Narcotics Handle Bureau earlier in the day mentioned, “We have arrested Showik and Samuel Miranda only immediately after obtaining strong proof towards them. We have procured digital evidence suggesting their involvement in the medication conspiracy and that is why the arrest has been produced.”

Meanwhile, a staff of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrived at late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s Mont Blanc residence at Bandra at Mumbai’s Carter Street spot on Saturday (September five) morning.

In accordance to sources, the CBI staff was accompanied by a staff of AIIMS physicians, forensic staff, Sushant’s elder sister Meetu Singh, cook-caretaker Neeraj Singh, cook Keshav and actor’s pal and flatmate Siddharth Pithani. Sources mentioned that the central probe company, which is investigating the Sushant death situation, is probable to recreate the crime scene after once more.
