Karan Johar's 2019 party video authentic, no tampering done, NCB receives forensic report

New Delhi: The Narcotics Manage Bureau (NCB) has acquired the forensic report of the celebration video at Karan Johar’s house in 2019. The viral video had raised concerns above alleged drug consumption by celebs current at the celebration and two weeks in the past, Manjinder Singh Sirsa filed a complaint with the NCB to investigate the clip. 

The forensic report has confirmed that the video is genuine, unedited and no tampering was finished with it. Now, the NCB will choose the subsequent program of action and the leading officials are possible to hold a meeting with company chief Rakesh Asthana. 

The report comes just a day soon after the NCB confirmed that it is not probing the alleged ‘drug party’ video, incorporating that their target is on the drug-linked investigation surrounding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

The video was posted on July 28, 2019, by Karan Johar. It showed quite a few Bollywood celebrities which include Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan at his house. 

Manjinder Singh Sirsa had filed a complaint towards Karan Johar and some others above the video and alleged that “medication have been utilized” by people who attended the celebration. 

“That celebration video should be investigated into,” he tweeted, along with a copy of his complaint.

Right after which, the NCB begun its investigation into the authenticity of the viral video. The NCB officials needed to ascertain no matter whether the viral video is true or doctored.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Karan Johar launched a statement dismissing all allegations towards him. He claimed that he neither consumes narcotics nor promotes or encourages consumption of any this kind of substance.

The statement go through: “Particular information channels, print/ electronic media and social media platform(s) are wrongly and misleadingly reporting that narcotics have been consumed at a celebration that I, Karan Johar hosted on July 28, 2019, at my residence. I had currently clarified my place way back in 2019 that the allegations have been false.”

Karan Johar even more additional, “In see of the latest malicious campaign, I am reiterating that the allegations are fully baseless and false. No narcotics substance was consumed in the celebration.”
