Anurag Kashyap denies 'rape' charges, says 'will take severe action against Payal Ghosh'


Mumbai: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has categorically denied rape allegations levelled by actor Payal Ghosh and sought “serious action” towards her for “hijacking” the “Me As well motion”, his attorney explained on Friday.

The suburban Versova police registered a 1st Information and facts Report (FIR) towards Kashyap (48) on September 22 immediately after Ghosh, in a compliant, alleged that he had raped her in 2013.
